Ron Paul – Not only “not Racist,” but completely Opposed to all forms of Racism and Favoritism

The claims in the media lately have been gross distortions and partial truths, keeping some information hidden, ignoring consistent efforts in his previous campaigns, and highlighting the fears in people who believe strongly one way or the other. Fears that, if we elect this man, that he will make bad choices based on flawed judgement. Yet if we look past all of the flak being thrown at us, at the big picture, we can see a man who has fought against all forms of discrimination and fervently for Individual rights his entire life.

Anti-Israel/Anti-Semite claims

Paul was heavily criticized as being “anti-Israel” and anti-Semite because of his stance with Israel. Yet it’s justified both in Israel’s Zionist religion, being independence and self-reliance, and through Netanyahu’s own words himself, that the US is not needed there at all, fully supporting the idea that we should in fact not be there.

The news media boldly claimed that Paul hated Jews. …What? To assume that outright would be to say he had no reasoning behind his views, leaving only room for prejudice. Now those claims are mostly gone, and new ones are back to takes its place.

Evidence against Racism in Newsletters

Paul in 1988 claimed that the War On Drugs treated minorities unfairly because of a large racial bias tied behind them and was originally enacted with those stereotypes in mind.

This is the article written by Ryan Grim

Paul wants to not only remove the War on Drugs, but also to pardon all peoples imprisoned for non-violent drug crimes. Amazingly something like 20% of all drug offenders are Black, but roughly 50% of ALL those imprisoned are Black.

He also criticizes the Gov’t for using the CIA to drug traffick, as it was an easy way to raise funds. These claims were proven true, as of yesterday.

Who is really racist here?

Not to mention he’s currently the only candidate on the floor who cares that we bombed 500,000 Iraqi children and thinks that it was wrong of us to do so.

(I’m just showing the children in Iraq and how they’re not different from other children.)
Fact: Let’s say you took one minute to think about the life of each child killed by American bombings before 9/11. You would be sitting there without rest for 347 days, almost an entire year. That’s how devastating this was.

Who is racist now?

A racist approach toward Muslims would be to assume that every Muslim was the same, and that nothing they do is good for anyone. This is a stance that politicians largely back, and views that they work to inspire into every American. They do this, for example, by calling it ‘Terrorism’ and attributing it to Muslims, where Ron Paul has continually stated that Terrorism is not a people, but a method of war.

Let’s consider our views towards Muslims to those of Blacks in the 19th century:

Taken from Wikipedia:

Such scholars as Patricia A. Turner note “stereotyping objects in popular culture that depict blacks as servile, primitive, or simpleminded and explains how the subtle influences of such seemingly harmless images reinforce anti-black attitudes.”[1] As with every other identifiable group, stereotypes continue today. Blacks are often portrayed as lazy and very religious.”

Dictionary.com:

  1. the belief that races have distinctive cultural characteristics determined by hereditary factors and that this endows some races with an intrinsic superiority over others
  2. abusive or aggressive behaviour towards members of another race on the basis of such a belief

Just to clarify, outside of the US, none of our military actions fall under the Constitution. The idea that we’re promoting democracy around the world is a falsehood. Look up videos on us torturing people abroad if you’re still in doubt. ….No changes, no consequences since this video was taken in 2008.
